The successful candidate will primarily be in Produce department but will also be supporting Deli/Bakery/Sushi as needed.

Compensation/Salary: 

Casual Status; under 20 hours per week

Rate of pay: $11.00

Requirements: 

• Retail merchandizing experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
• Detail oriented and organized
• Must be able to communicate in a professional manner and respond with timelines
• Able to research problems and recommend solutions, solve them with support
• Tea player who is a self-starter who is able to manage own work
• Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with store operators, customers and company personnel.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Passionate about what they do and the processes within their area
• Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in situations.

• Responsibilities & Duties: 

• Communicate with the Stores Produce Management upon arrival and prior to leaving the department. 
• Build and maintain planned promotional displays and fill priority areas. 
• Assist in the layout of fixtures and merchandise for FF&V departments and department resets
• Ensure CPFD provided signs and marketing materials are up to date and being utilized. 
• Review 5 weekly promotion items and discuss any concerns with the Produce Manager. 
• Assist or support stores if requested in monitoring store inventory levels of produce
• Responsible for supporting CPFD in achieving results in sales, marketing, and merchandising of produce
• Be a bridge of communication between store produce personnel and CPFD Management Team
• Become knowledgeable of CPFD’s systems at store level
• Responsible for working with the CPFD FFV Team to maintain and improve quality of product
